Their dancing is elegant and tends to revolve around a story with a deep meaning.

The hot, desert province of XinJiang in northwestern China is most famous for three things: fruit, mutton, and dance. In villages across the province, one can always find people dancing to exotic stringed instruments. Dance is an important part of both the culture and the village life, and the simple beauty of XinJiang dances has been used by many dancers around the world. Today, we give you a lively dance about the beautiful XinJiang maidens, and hope it may bring you a glimpse of life in XinJiang province.
